In the spring of 2004, Pat Stack and her son, Tom, drove up to the Minocqua, Wisconsin area. At the local grocery store, while in the check-out line, Pat looked across to the next check-out line, and she looked again, and again, and then yelled; "Milly? Milly Cutich? Is that you?" And, it was!

What are the odds that two KP alumni graduating from a school in Chicago nearly 50 years ago would meet in a grocery store in Minocqua, Wisconsin? Amazing! Pat and Milly hugged and laughed, and hugged some more!

Milly invited Pat and her son, back to her house where they sat around Milly's kitchen table looking at a Kelvynian, talking and laughing, and having a great time reminiscing.

A few weeks later, Milly emailed Pat to tell her that Richard Hussar was going to be in Wisconsin. Emails went back and forth, and it was decided to get a group together to meet with Richard, and a KP mini-reunion was born. Milly contacted Sandy Majus and Roseanne Girardi. Pat called Jim Chiakulas. The mini-reunion took place at HoChunk Casino in Baraboo, Wisconsin in June of 2004.

It was a magical mini-reunion! A fabulous time was had by all. Over dinner one evening, it was unanimously agreed to begin planning for a KP Class of 1958 50th Reunion. And, there you have it!
