Jocelyn Koester (White)

Jocelyn and her husband, Tim, live in Elgin, Illinois. When they moved to a smaller house, on one acre, together Jocelyn and Tim took on a five year project of planting native prairie plants. Jocelyn said, "It was lots of work." (I can just imagine! Oh! My aching back!) Jocelyn and Tim have 4 lovely grandchildren, 2 girls and 2 boys, ranging in age from 3 years to 13 years old. Their grandchildren are a lot of fun, and Jocelyn and her husband spend a lot of their time trying to keep up with all their grand children's activities. And, anyone who has ever been through home remodeling, can understand that after two bathroom remodelings, Jocelyn isn't sure whether or not she can survive a kitchen remodel, too. (Good luck!) Jocelyn graduated from Barry Elementary School. Her favorite KP teachers were Ms. Wright and Mr. Polk. She said that these two teachers made learning fun and interesting. But, her least favorite teacher was the Physical Education Teacher (or as we used to say Gym Teacher) Miss Ekstrom. Why? Well, Jocelyn thought Miss Ekstrom wasn't a very kind person. (Bet she made Jocelyn do 20 "push up's"?) Jocelyn had forgotten that she was one of the 12 dancing princesses in the June senior play. (How could she forget!) Take a look. She's the tall pretty one standing in between Milly Cutich and Linda Johnson.
