Beverly and her husband Robert are
living in Brainard, New York. They have two daughters and
four wonderful grandchildren. The day Bev was selected to
be a tumbler on KP's cheerleading team stands out as one
of her fondest KP memories. She also remembers the many
good friends she made at KP, and how much she missed them
when she had to move to New York City when she was only
21 years old. Bev considers one of her greatest
accomplishments to be raising two lovely daughters and
being able to be involved in the lives of her four grand
children. Between their apartment in Brooklyn and their
home in Brainard, Barb is a very busy lady. She babysits
for their 2 year old grand daughter each week in
Brooklyn. And, she likes gardening. Bev attended Barry
Elementary School from kindergarten through the 4th
grade. Then she transferred to Nixon Elementary School
and graduated from Nixon. Bev's favorite KP teacher was
Mrs. Nordman who sparked an interest in Bev for civic and
social issues. Her least favorite teacher was her algebra
teacher, Mrs. Gails. Bev was out with the flu for a week
in her freshman year, and Mrs. Gails gave her a "D" in
algebra the first marking period. (Ouch! The dread
"D"!)
