It only took Sherida three and a half
years to graduate from Kelvyn. She was just a youngster
when she entered college. Sherrie and her husband,
Walter, had their hands full raising two families with
children that were 20 years apart in age. She is
especially fond of anything Swedish -- singing, travel,
and spending time at the Ice Hotel in Sweden. At Kelvyn
she remembers participating in a talent show. She really
liked Band with Miss Fischer. I didn't ask why, but
Sherrie wasn't all that fond of Mrs. Maccallini. (Hmmmn?
Wonder why?) Sherrie was a supervisor for the Chicago
Park District for 38 years. And, for the past 13 years
she has been Program Coordinator, Office of Human
Services, for the Village of Skokie. Sherrie received her
B.A. and M.A. from DePaul University, and she's received
her Multi-Diciplinary Certificate in Geriatrics from the
St. Louis University and her Certificate as Senior Health
Insurance Counselor from the State of Illinois. Sherida
graduated from Barry Elementary School.
